Cereal and Evanston

Kymbree had her 4 month check-up late...when she was almost 5 months, on August 25. She it still a petite little thing...

Weight: 13 lbs 13 oz
47 %tile

Height: 24.8 inches

Head: 16.2 inches
49 %tile

On September 6, we decided to try some rice cereal with Kymbree. At her 4 month appointment her doctor said she would be ok to try it. She didn't care for it much and wasn't quite sure what to do with it once it was in her mouth so we decided to wait a couple more weeks when she could sit up a little better, until next time we gave it to her. But we got some funny faces out if her! :)

Bathtime is always entertaining, she has started to focus on things, trying to kick and grab them rather than splash like crazy...

I love coming home to see what she will look like in her crib...

I was working in the kitchen one day and had her laying out in the front room and she started getting pretty upset, I horried and finished what I was doing and came to find her like this.. No wonder she was mad..And this isn't the first time we have found her like this... In her carseat the other day, she managed to get the bow out of the headband and pull it apart (it was a magnetic one that you can change the inside color) the inserted color was on the SEAT, the top magnet on one side and the bottom magnet on the other side...
We went up to Evanston a couple weekends ago to go to the Demolition Derby. Matt and I had never been to one, so we thought it would be a good chance to hang out with Family too!

We went on a walk at the state park with my Grandma Bruce while my Mom and Dad were working. It was nice to get outside and spend some time with grandma.

Matt waiting patiently for us to head to the Derby

Protecting her little ears...

It got kinda cold when the sun went down... But we were prepared!

The next day Rikki and Jocelyn came over and we went up to the Uintas for a picnic.

Mama and her two grandbabies!

A couple of pictures from Jocelyn's point of view...
Grandpa

and her beautiful mama!

Going down to play in the water

Kymbree wasn't the biggest fan of high mountain lake water

Jocelyn LOVED it though

Jocelyn was so good at making sure Kymbree ALWAYS had her binkie in...
