WARNING! THIS POST IS EXTREMELY LONG!
Ok, so I swore I would never do this again and I was doing so good for awhile but here is my summer thus far, starting with, that's right MEMORIAL DAY! -Jodi
So since Eric was still in Africa hunting, Rikki, Matt and Jodi met in Evanston for the weekend to go 4 wheeling in Woodruff and to go see Grandma and Grandpa Dean.

So here we go...We'll try to keep writing to a minimum...

Matt has never got to play on a "real" train. He thought it was pretty neat.

We had the timer and Matt was trying to make it up the ropes by me in time for the picture. He biffed it on this one, but he made it (finally) after many many tries...

Bear Lake

Another one of our Sunday Hikes.
Bridal Veil Falls
We took another trail up higher and then came down, pretty much climbing over this sign...
OOPS!

We found this place in Orem called Trafalga (you've probably seen it if you have EVER drove I-15) And for $20, two people ("Date Night") could get a round of mini golf, 50 pitches for each person in the batting cages, a race in the go carts and 2 large dippin dots... PRETTY GOOD DANG DEAL, EH!?
Jodis got a hole in one...

Sunday hike, up behind our house

Abbie's Baby Blessing
These were the men in the cirlce.
APPARENTLY Jodi was supposed to tell Matt that he was in the circle. Jodi had been thinking Cami would want to do it (hence the blue shirt among the whites)

LAKE POWELL!!
This is where we wanted to go cliff jumping toward the end of the week but there were people fishing under it when we went...
This was the beginning of the week, so witht he water rising like it was, the jump would have ben about 4-6 feet less of a drop (does that make sense?)

Alison Arch

The Island Oasis was loved by many...
Relaxing Floating...

Showering...

Ok, so this story gets some explanation...
McKenzie (the little one in the pink and black) either left the camera on the back of the boat and Tyson (her dad) knocked it in or she dropped it... EITHER WAY there is a camera in the bottom of Lake Powell. I know, "Whoopdie-Doo" right?
WRONG...

Thanks to MANY of the participants Wyoming background, they were able to rig up this "Redneck Scuba Gear"
The hose connected to a air mattress pump.
Robbie would go down with the hose in his mouth while Ian pumped the air pump...
Much to our Suprise, it actually worked!

And he's submerged!
But no luck, we never found the camera...

A cool Arch on the way to Rainbow Bridge

So when Jodi went to Rainbow two years ago it took a good 10-15 minutes to get to see this first glance of the bridge. This was the view from the beginning of the hike, still on the floating sidewalk. Amazing how the water levels change everything in the place so so much...

Ok, so this little cave was awesome. We actually got the ski boat in there two years ago. The first day we got there, the ski boat would have made it, but barely. The wave runner went in there no problem. But the COOL thing is, when you get past the initial opening, it opens up to like a 30 foot ceiling. It was awesome, but kinda creepy at the same time, so dark and clausterphobic-like.

From the inside looking out of the cave

Toward the end of the week...Waverunner wasn't even gonna get in that baby...
Notice how the rock goes down as you go in. That first opening, the end of it before you got into the ope spot was only about a foot, maybe two, out of water by this point.

Who needs miniture golfing when you can FISH for the golf clubs!
We went on a triple date with some of Jodi's friends and their husband/pretty much husband

ALL DONE! And until nextime...which I PRAY will not be another 3 months...This was BRUTAL!
