SO! In case you guys haven't noticed, my Mommy has not been very good about keeping you updated on me, so I have taken it upon myself to update our blog on a regular basis so you don't forget how cute I am! First order of business, I updated my picture timeline on the right side of the screen, check out my adorable pictures. Second of all, for those of you who didn't know, daddy is in his last year of Physical Therapy School, doing his internship in Biloxi, MS on Keesler Air Force Base. He says he really likes it, but me and mommy, we have the best end of the deal. We get to stay at home and play and go for walks and play on the beach, oh and mommy cleans and does homework to, but that's not as fun and playing and going to the beach...

Grandma Cindy hired Mommy as her "personal assistant" so she could stay home with me and still work and make some money too, isn't that so nice? I thought so...

Oh and one other thing, Mommy has been SERIOUSLY slacking in the taking pictures of me department, but don't you worry, I know how to say CHEESE and smile for the camera now, so I'll tell her whats up and get her to take some pictures for you guys!

Ok, so here are the FEW pictures Mommy has taken since we moved... (I KNOW! She's SUCH a slacker, huh!)

I am always teaching Mommy and Daddy new things, like how awesome shower caps are and if they would just put my food on a little stool in front of a mirror I would eat ALL DAY...

Oh My Gosh, I was so tired from excitement from waiting for Grandma Cindy to come see us... Mommy put in in bed, just like this, and I didn't move a muscle all night! PHEW

Aunt Rikki and Uncle Eric gave Mommy and Daddy this awesome stroller they aren't using anymore because they have TWO of my cousins now, instead of just one, and I love it! THANKS AUNT RIKKI! We use it almost everyday, and even when its folded up, I still like to play on it, even though... Stroller: 3 Me: 2... BUT HEY! I'm getting better...well I should say, Mommy is getting better at closing the closet its in... (dang mommy)

Grandpa Dennis got a new Ipad2 from school so Grandma Cindy sent Grandpa's old Ipad to Mommy at work, so we surprised Daddy with it on Christmas. I sure like to play it too. It sure was a lifesaver on that FOREVER LONG DRIVE, because you wanna know what, I didn't cry ONCE in the WHOLE THREE DAYS we were driving... Until we got to Biloxi, and we had to keep getting in and out of the car because we didn't have anywhere to go and we were waiting for our apartment to be ready... Yeah, I was sick of the car by then. But don't worry we all I hung out at home with very little car time once we got the apartment and I am happy to announce, I once again don't hate being in the car!

See, I TOLD YOU I know how to say cheese and smile for the camera now...

The first thing we got in the mail when we moved in was this apron that Aunt Rikki and Mommy's friend Tara made for me. Me and Mommy sure love it. It even has a pocket with my name on it! I can't wait to help her make cookies!

SEE! I TOLD YOU we live by the beach. I heard Mommy tell Grandpa Bruce that from our house to the beach is only 0.3 miles, and its a straight shot on our driveway! Isn't that so cool!

Ok, well I know Mommy still has a lot of pictures she was supposed to show you from the last 6 months of our lives, so keep checking back on us! Oh, and since our blog is Private, she is finally taking her cousin Jen's advice and making another blog that just has the name of the post when I update so you can have it in your Blog List and know when I update without having to click on our private blog link just to check if we updated... Today I am thankful for new friends and awesome support systems. I was finally able to sit down and talk a little with Cami's newest sister in law Melissa. She is such a sweetheart and I really hope I can continue to get to know her. The Hamer family is so lucky to have her. And as for support systems, Cami's husband lost his mom the week before and her funeral was Saturday. It was great to see such a turnout of support for the lost of his mother. They had an open mic time for friends and family to share their memories of Dee and one of Devin's Aunt's said the most wonderful sentence. I have been constantly looking for a way to describe just how AWESOME of a family I married into, and this stranger (to me) summed it up in one sentence...

"When I got married, I didn't get "in-laws." I got what your supposed to get...MORE FAMILY"

Today I am thankful for an awesome cousin that comes to my house every morning to watch my daughter AND that my daughter ABSOLUTELY ADORES HER. All morning long, Kymbree was walking around saying "Buh Bye" and "GO!!" And NO I am not thankful she pushes me out the door, but closing the door on a happy baby is HECK OF A LOT EASIER than closing the door on a screaming baby for a NUMBER of reasons...

Today I am thankful for new life. I got to hold my friends brand new baby boy tonight and WHAT AN ANGEL. I know this is so cliche, but you truly do forget how small they used to be. Nothing like a brand new baby to put a smile on our face, regardless of how UN-awesome your day was. And Cintia, holy smokes she's a fighter and such an inspiration. I cannot believe how AWESOME she looks after just delivering her baby.

Today I am thankful for my sweet niece's, Jocelyn and Payton. There is something about those two little girls that I just can't help by smile. They can make the worst of days into the BEST. Thank you Rikki and Eric and Mom for coming down and playing with me today, and for bringing those sweet girls with you.

This was my first race. It was just a 5k, and I wasn't able to run it all...but nowhere to go but up!

Today I am thankful for my beautiful wedding rings and the wonderful husband who gave them to me. I forgot to wear them yesterday since I was doing dishes before I went to work and was in a hurry to leave, and my little pinky got a workout constantly searching for the ring that was missing. It was so nice to feel whole again today.

Today I am thankful for our little apartment that I was able to clean this morning. I know we take our beds and homes for granted, as some people aren't as lucky as we are to have, even the smallest of apartments. I am glad we can afford to have a roof over our heads, the ability to use the heater and a comfortable bed to snuggle with my husband at night.

Today I am thankful for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and my membership in it, as well as the testimonies of kids. I felt the strongest testimony given today was that of about a 10 year old little girl. It was just so pure and strong.

Today I am thankful for my sweet babygirl's "mommy's girl-ness." Almost every morning when we wake up we have "Mitchell Family Snuggle Time" where we bring Kymbree in our room and just lay in bed as a family for a minute. Well dad had to go to class this morning so it was just me and Kymbree and she just snuggled right into me and almost feel asleep again, I loved it. Then when she showers with me, she has the WHOLE tub to play in but she chooses to SIT right on my feet THE WHOLE TIME.

We went to Flaming Gorge over the 4th with my sister's family. It was a blast. I just realized, if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have so much to post about, so my post delay's are all RIKKI'S fault! *Love Ya Sis!*

Today I am thankful for my family in all immediate and distant. Today Mom and Dad came down to run some errands and take us to dinner. They are also being so nice and letting us store some stuff at their house while we are in Mississippi, so they picked up a load of stuff last night. I hope I am somehow able to express how grateful we are that they are doing this for us. And as for distant, my cousin's daughter, Brighton, is in school at BYU and has so graciously offered to come over and watch Kymbree a couple days a week while Matt is in school and I am working. We are so excited to have her help, she is such a sweetheart.

And on the update front, June's folder was small, so I just brought in all the events from June.

My best friend and her family were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. It was so awesome to share that special day with them. I will never forget it the things I heard and the way I felt in that sealing room. I love you Scallions family!

Today I am grateful for a patient babysitter and an understanding boss. When I called to tell my boss Kymbree just threw up the the babysitter's and I was taking her to the doctor, she was mad that I hadn't told her earlier than she was sick and refused to let me come to work saying I just needed to take care of my daughter to help her feel better, even after Matt got home.

And here is a little taste of our Lake Havasu Trip we took in May with my whole family *GASP* Thank you Shantz Family for sharing your home with us! It was a blast!

*So I forgot how to upload pictures to make sure they are in order, so on the way HOME we stopped in Oatman, AZ... And that's what we'll star with, so pretend like you are going backwards though time as you look at the pictures... :) *

Everyone likes 2 for one deals, yeah? Well here is my two for one deal for you. I plan on posting everyday in November, telling the thing I am thankful for that day, ALONG WITH, posting a slideshow or a few pictures from previous goings on in our lives in an attempt to be getting caught up on our blog and back into the habit of blogging again, especially since I plan on changing the look/purpose of my blog come January 1... :)

Today I am grateful for medicine. Poor Kymbree got sick over the weekend and with a little help from Tylenol and Ibuprofen, she has been able to be herself for the most part, as well as be kept safe from scary things caused by high fevers.

Since Halloween was just yesterday, I might as well start with a couple pictures of little miss Rainbow Brite.
Oh, and I was a Jack O Lantern. haha

Since Kymbree was a bit under the weather, we just trick or treated at the mall. It was perfect....warm with just enough candy...

17 Months

13 Months

So here is the deal.

We have WAY TO MANY computers at our house. The main one with all the pictures on it is in Kymbree's room and when I think to blog, she is sleeping, so that won't work... And then if I do manage to think to blog when she is awake, Matt is usually studying on that computer or if he, for some miracle IS NOT on the computer, I feel like I am hiding from/neglecting my daughter when I sit on the computer...So are you seeing my predicament?
And we used to have it set up where the main computer would sync with my netbook so I had access to those pictures regardless...Well something happened, Microsoft changed the program or we didn't complete the update or SOMETHING so the pictures have not synced for a couple months now...
So seeing as it's June 1st and Kymbree is now 13.5 months old, I figure I need to hurry and post her progress before another whole month passes!
And I realize I have yet to post her birthday pictures... I will get around to it someday...

Says "hi" and "uh-oh" (On a sidenote, we were watching Tangled and someone got knocked out by the frying pan and she said "UH-OH!" so she REALLY knows what it means. haha)

1 Year Old

So most of Kymbree's birthday pictures are on my camera that was being held safe in Debbie's purse while we were on the boat last weekend...Needless to say, Pinky is still in her purse! So I stole a picture from my mom and from my phone to give a quick update since Kymbree has been a year old for almost a month now!

We had Kymbree's birthday party the week after her birthday so Grandma Cindy could be there for it. It was a lot of fun and she looked adorable. We had a little Easter Egg hunt that the kids loved. She was not at all interested in her presents, and need persuasion from daddy for her cake too and she really did not like the ice cream...to cold.

My AWESOME cousin Kristi made her cakes and her zebra bows, and I loved them ALL.. I got so many compliments on the cakes and bows, i don't know what I would have done without Kristi. THANKS AGAIN KRIS!!

This was on her actual birthday. She got a birthday muffin AND a birthday cake.

She is just now getting to wear she will kinda walk holding our hands in between our legs, but it only lasts for a couple steps and then she just lifts her legs and hangs there...

She talks and babbles nonstop, but no distinguishable words yet

She is starting to try to climb up on the couch, and will climb and sit on her Dora couch that Aunt Rikki and Uncle Eric gave her.

She knows how to climb upstairs, but has not been a fan of learning how to go down

Eats most everything we put in front of her.

NEVER STOPS MOVING... She is hard enough to change in the confinement of a changing table... try to do it just on the floor, forget about it...can you say naked baby? And if you want her to drink a whole bottle all at once, you have to be holding her, if you just give it to her, she drinks about an ounce, sees something move, something shiny, colorful, or one of her toys, well lets face it, she takes after her dad... If she sees ANYTHING, she will stop drinking and go play, eventually she gets it all drank as she makes her rounds though

One of her favorite things to do is have her hands on anything that will slide across the floor (DVD's, Tupperwear, boxes) and crawl pushes them everywhere

Constantly has random things in her hands while moving from place to place.

In one year she has only had 1 surgery, 1 cold, and 2 ear infections...the 2 ear infections were at the same time 2 weeks ago, so all in all she's been pretty healthy!

Grace's Birthday and 11 Months

My baby is 11 Months! Well actually she is almost 1 YEAR OLD, but this dandy of a picture was taken when she was 11 months old. She is SO active, never stops moving, I've decided changing her bum on the changing table is hard...FORGET about changing it on the floor, the second you get the diaper off she's off and running (well crawling) so i couldn't help but take some naked bummy pictures...

Then we got her dressed....

She is so fun to have around. At 11 months She...

Can still wear 6 months clothes...Actually I believe those brown pants ARE 6 month size (right Cami?)
Has 6 teeth, two bottom, 4 top
Crawls like a maniac... I like to describe it as "now you see her now you don't"
Gets into EVERYTHING. Her favorite places to play are with the lazy susan and tupperwares in the kitchen, my nightstand where i have MANY books and lotions and TO MUCH CRAP I HAVE TO PICK UP EVERY 10 MINUTES and the bookcase corner in the office half of her room which is 10 times worse than my nightstand...
Is becoming a good eater...finally...trying to get some meat on them bones. We I had a WIC appt yesterday and the dietician seemed a little concerned but said if Dr wasn't than she wasn't then she saw how Kymbree wouldn't sit still during the appt and she fully understood why she's so skinny!
LOVES bathtime and water and has recently found the TOILET ... ICK! I try to keep bathroom closed all the time, but remember how quick i said she was...yeah. Talk about disinfecting time for her after that one...
Even at so little, she really does play really well with other kids, and isn't that much of a whiner (know on wood)
Walks along couches like no ones business but when you try to hold her to stand up in the middle of the room, she's playing the lava "don't touch the floor" game with her feet
Loves anyone and everyone who comes in contact with her. Have yet to experience stranger danger phase

On to Grace's Birthday!

It was loads of fun with lots of friends, family, good food and KIDS.

The theme was Uno. Cami had everyone hold up their age for a picture and the decorations were so cute. I definately hired Cami for Kymbree's Birthday...

Natalie and Devin's cousin's by playing with Kymbree. It looks like Natalie is like pushing her down or something, but she really wasn't, she was just like following her with her hand on her back as Kymbree crawled, it was cute...

The cake was made by Devin's cousin and it was so cute, i wish I would have gotten a picture, but there were 4 little cakes that made a set of uno cards.

Science Experiment time... It took 5 balloons to hold up the squirty toy! :)

A lot has happened in the last couple weeks, but my pictures are not syncing to my netbook (my smartie pants husbands doing, synching that is, he hasn't had time to fix the no-synching issues yet) so I have to be on the main computer to blog and the only time i have time to do that is when little munchkin is sleeping and since main computer is in her room...we have a BIT of a problem. Ill try t get it done soon though! For now, thanks fr visiting my blog, love you all!

A letter to your parents

Dear Mom and Dad-

almost feel horrible about saying this, but I think I have taken you for granted. You are TRULY the best parents EVER. The more I get to know more people and their parents the more I love you. You guys would do ANYTHING to help us out, no matter what. They have always shared everything they have with us, like whats their is ours, and I truly appreciate that more than they know. We have been poor married college students since December 23, 2007, and I CANNOT WAIT until Matt and I can take our families out to dinner, our treat. I know it won't come close to making up for all the times they have taken us to dinner, but we have a whole lifetime to try to make it up to them, and I hope, somehow we will be able to pay them back for all the financial help they have given us too...

As I am reading this, I realize that this letter could really be written to both sets of our parents, Matt's parents too. Even though they live across the country, they are the most loving, helpful BEST in laws a girl could ask for. I am SOO grateful that they are willing to fly us out at least once a year to visit, it truly is one of my favorite times of the year and ALWAYS look forward too it.

Oh boy... This is a really hard one. I really don't know what makes me different...

I have such a supportive family that would do anything and everything to help me and my family.
My sister is and always has been my best friend, and she was so nice to me that she married a man that I love as a brother of my own and I also consider another best friend (THANKS RIK!).
I have a mother in law that I love like she's my own.
My first experience as a mother was setting up a surgery for her at just 6 weeks of age
My brother in law is a true rock star! He is SOO AMAZING, I get chills listening to his first demo and I will never get sick his voice being my ringtone and can't wait for him to find another band that shares his values so he can rock his way to the top!
My husband is gonna be a doctor and we BOTH can't wait because we both know it is something he will truly enjoy.

Something Your Proud of in the Last Few Days

I finally got to spend time with Cami and her two sweet girls. The only thing missing was Rikki and HER two sweet girls...

On the way to Jocelyn's Birthday weekend, I stopped in Evanston to work for my mom and see some family. Kristi tested to see if she could fit Kymbree's hair into a whale spout and imagine that, she could! Then she topped it with and awesome bow that made her look like Minnie Mouse...

My cousins Jeff and Jen and their family finally got to meet Kymbree and Tim (after he gave me a hug and called me Aunt Jodi...TALK ABUT MELT MY HEART that SWEET boy, Jen is SO not fibbing on her blog when she tells us how sweet her boys are!) almost immediately stole her from Jen after Jen got to hold her. It was SO SWEET to see him hold her.

Then we finally made it to Rikki's house and as always Jocelyn was the life of the party, playing dress up and trying on Grandma's glasses.

Short Term Goals for this Month and Why

*Be better about NOT procrastinating because it will make all aspects of life mush easier.

Your Favorite Super Hero and Why

I never really followed comic books or anything growing up but my husband has got me into all the comic book movies and I have to say, I'm surprised to say I ACTUALLY like them. My favorites have been Iron Man and Transformers.

I don't know if it is Iron Man or Robert Downing Junior being hot... But I really love the Iron Man movies and think Iron Man is a very AWESOME super hero, because like BatMan, everything they do is truly possible through technology,,,And seriously... how cool is that suit?!

When I asked Matt who his favorite Super Hero was and he didn't know, so when I told him mine were Iron Man and Optimus Prime he said "Optimus Prime is not a super hero" but hey, I think he is, so thats all that matters, right? I LOVE these movies and am SO excited for the new one this summer. I especially loved Optimus Primes voice. It gives me chills!

A habit you Wish you didn't have

Do I have to name just one? If i have to name just one I think i have one that kinda creates a lot of other bad habits and that is procrastinating. I have worked on it before and tried to get rid of it and it usually lasts about a week and then I'm back to my old ways. Hopefully one of these days I will figure out how to really overcome it!

And now here are a few pictures from Kymbree when she was 9 months old, that was January 16, 2011.

At nine months she...

*Babbled nonstop, especially saying "ma ma ma ma..."

*Got closer to crawling everyday

*Got into everything she could get her hands into

*Hardly ever cries

*Has no problem having other pe0ple hold her

*Laughs and smiles at strangers in the store

*LOVES seeing other kids, her face instantly lights up

*NEVER stops moving

And as for her stats... She was a little over 9 months old for her appointment, but here are her 9 month stats...

Weight: 16.78 lbs (11th %tile)

Height: 27 1/4 in (31st %tile)

Head Circumference: 17.32 in (44th %tile)

So her weight is dropping %tiles and her height and head are staying in about the same %tile so she is getting less proportionate rather than more proportionate. The Dr said they usually kinda plateau at about this time because they get more active and so her 11th %tile isn't to much to worry about right now, just be sure to be feeding her a lot, so thats what we've been trying to do, but she still looks like a skinny mini.

The meaning Behind Your Blog Name

"The Marvelous Mitchells"

This blog originally started out as my own before I was even dating Matt and then once we got married, and after some questioning from Matt it turned into our family blog. It was originally just plain jane "The Mitchell's Blog" or something, but then I wanted some alliteration or something. So I chose the word Marvelous to proceed Mitchell's. because let's face it, we ARE pretty Marvelous. :) ;) haha

Marvelous is defined as:

And when I google searched Marvelous Mitchell's, well this blog was at the top :), but as I was looking there were additional blogs and Mitchell family sites and such but then I came across this dandy little video...

And what is EVEN BETTER is that my brother in laws name is CHAD! AND he is an AMAZING musician that was in a band but when his band-mates started wanting to write about sex, drugs and alcohol he bid them good riddance. I can't wait for him to get another band started up, no offence to the classics, but I hope it doesn't resemble THIS Chad Mitchell Band...

Rikki came down just a few days before Payton made her grand entrance into the world to take some cousin/Christmas Pictures. We went to this Studio in the University Mall in Orem called PhotoWorks. They take AMAZING pictures there and as an added bonus, Matt's Cousin Christie works there, and she takes her own amazing pictures so naturally it was a double whammy!

Ok, so for this Day 1 Business. My BEST friend Cami is doing this thing on her blog right now that requires post a day for 30 days. There is a list of Topics for posts, so here is my attempt at getting my blog updated as well as getting back into the habit of blogging.

Day 1

I drive 40 miles ONE WAY just to go to work EVERYDAY
I am usually tense around horses and it takes me a while to get relaxed, but this last time (on Sunday) the only time I got a little nervous was when I was taking pictures of Kymbree on Fanny and I was standing at the back end of Mochie and Mochie lifted her tail... No worries though, she didn't poop then...
One of my lifelong dreams is to see Garth Brooks in concert
I've seen Dierks Bentley in concert 3 times in 6 years... And I would see him again in a heartbeat
No matter my mood, seeing even a picture of Kymbree can make me smile...(Matt has figured this out and used it to his advantage...)
Out of all the jobs I have ever had, working at Rip's was my absolute favorite
NOTHING makes me happier than to watch Matt playing with Kymbree
I had a root canal the day before my Wedding
My sister always has and always will be my very best friend
I still cannot believe I am married with an almost one year old daughter.. WHERE DID THE TIME GO?!
I have the most active, healthiest 80+ years old grandparents I have ever seen
I LOVE that my in-laws DEFY the stereotypical in-laws (you know the ones that they don't get along) I LOVE Cindy, Dennis and Chad and can't imagine my life without them.
i am still in touch with a couple AWESOME friends from high school...whoever said high school friendships don't matter...your WRONG!
I knew people could love colors and objects and such, but I never knew i could love a SHAPE as much as I do...STARS are the most versatile PERFECT shape and I LOVE them!
I am thinking about becoming a massage therapist or possibly going to cosmetology school...

Has it really been since Halloween that I posted a non-monthy update post. Well I better get started somewhere.

Cindy was here for Halloween and spoiled us all as usual. Kymbree loves Grandma Cindy or Omi Jr (whichever she says first or Cindy decides she likes more)... And boy does Cindy love her Grandbaby! I describe it this way...

First year Matt ad Jodi are married, in laws come to visit once, we go to Ohio once...

Second year they come a couple more times because of some family events, both happy and sad...we go out once again

Kymbree is born and has been here for almost 9 months, they have come to visit 3 times, with the 4th being in a couple weeks...So there is a simple solution to this, if you want your parents to come visit more..HAVE KIDS! :)

We love having Matt's family with us and we love to go see them. We sure do wish they lived closer!

She LOVES the mirror, as do most babies...phew, she's normal! :)

The weekend after Halloween, Rikki, Cami and I had a girls day at my mom's and hosted holiday boutique. Afterwards mom treated us t Evanston's SageBrush Theatre's Cinderella. It was VERY cute and the girls looks so adorable in their dresses. Cami wasn't sure is she would be able to stay fr it so we weren't prepared with a dress for Abbie, but she still had fun!

I LOVED Jocelyn's Tennis0Shoes with her princess dress. Fr some reason I just wanted to call her Punky Brewster all day! The outfit TOTALLY fits this sweet girl's personality

I'll have you know that the pictures for this post were actually on the 8 month post on December 20, a mere 4 days after her 8 month birthday.

AND for her 8 month birthday present she got a brand new cousin! Payton Anne Shantz. I finally got to meet her over Christmas and what a doll she is!

At 8 months she...

Army crawls EVERYWHERE...

Eats EVERYTHING whether she is supposed to or not...

Puked out mashed potatoes...twice...

Still talks and squeals and babbles non stop...

Brightens up everyones day...

Loves to cuddle with her whale, panda, puppy or dolly when she sleeps...

Smiles at someone smiling at her, but then gets shy and turns away...

Loves playing with her friends and cousins...

Has her daddy wrapped around her finger...

Here I am being a slacker again...Kymbree is ALMOST 8 months old, and I finally get to SIT DOWN and post about her being 7 months...SHE'S GROWING TO FAST!
Geez, where do I start...
*She's eating baby food (not squishing most of it out)
*The only foods she has tried and not liked are baby meats and mashed potatoes (I don't think she care for the thick, really textured stuff... But don't worry, she WILL love mashed potatoes...or else she' NOT my daughter :)
*Scooting around like a mad woman
*Babbles and squeals constantly

Kymbree's First Halloween

We didn't g Trick or Treating, because lets face it, every door we knock on is going to know that I will be the one eating the candy...

Regardless...we had a fun filled weekend full of Omi, Omi Junior, birthday parties, FOOTBALL, earn your candy-ing*, pictures, family dinner and MORE PICTUES :)

*Saturday night we went to Moni's house. Whitney said that they have not had many trick or treaters over the past few years because since they don't go to church, no one really comes there, so this year they decided to give everyone no choice but to come. They had a fire in their cast iron fire pit in the drive way, a spinning whee you had to spin to see what prize you got (ranging from normal Halloween candy up to teddy bears!) and hot chocalate. It was a lot of fun!

Omi and Aunt Debbie have THE BEST backyards for pictures, so who could resist taking some pictures!

By the time we firgured it would be ok to not have the towel, she was getting sad, so maybe we can work some photoshop magic and ge the towel out of the cute picture.

6 Months!

6 Months old and Mom is only 2 days late on the post! WHOOT WHOOT!

At 6 months she can now...
*Reaches for anything and everything she can see and reach
*Falls asleep without being bundled
*Lays in her crib and talks until dad gets her and brings her to mom in the morning...No crying in the morning for this baby!
*Shows us she is NOT a fan of rice cereal
*Tells us when she is done eating by flubbering her lips

*Be awake and content in her car seat
*Get her short little legs ready for the day she gets to ride a bike! Round and Round they go!
*Play and be content without being held for longer amounts of time
*Rolling around a lot more, especially to get thing that are out of her reach, if if she still can't get what she wants and its on a blanket, she will pull the blanket to her, to bring the toy closer...Such a smartie!

She is getting better at...

*Eating eating baby food, we are currently working on carrots

*Playing with her favorite cousin Jocelyn and best friend Grace

*Cuddling with mom

She STILL...

*Is very easily distracted
*Puts herself to sleep

*Sleeps between 8-10 hours a night

*LOVES being outside (she hardly EVER cries when we are outside)
* Sits up on her own for about 10 seconds at a time, a lot longer with pillows around her

*Suck on fruit through her handy dandy mesh ...bag... baby fruit sucking thing

*Melts everyone's hearts' she sees

*Instantly turns a crappy day good with one little smile, squeal or giggle.

*Cuddles with everyone except mom

Well now that Kymbree is a good 9 days short of being 6 months, i suppose its a good time to do hr 5 month post.

At 5 months she can now...

* sit up on her own for about 10 seconds at a time, a lot longer with pillows around her

*Suck on fruit through her handy dandy mesh ...bag... baby fruit sucking thing

*LOVES being outside (she hardly EVER cries when we are outside)

*Puts herself to sleep

*Sleeps between 8-10 hours a night

She is getting better at...

*consistently rolling over

*falling asleep without being bundled

*eating rice cereal

*staying awake and content in her car seat

*Grabbing for things she wants
